On Saturday we went into Newport. Little did we know there was a boat show going on, and there were two cruise ships docking there so it was very busy! But we still had fun! We did some shopping... they have a Life is Good store! We took a drive on Ocean Drive, which is where you see the mansions and then the ocean (duh) and then you come to this point where you can fly kites. Well, this year there were TONS of bugs, and no wind. No one else was flying kites either. It made the kids very sad needless to say but... on the drive back we saw a playground so stopped there and let them play while my mom could look at the cruise ships and Donnie could wade in the water.
Once back at the house the kids also had a little fun taking a ride around the yard on Papa's scooter. They loved it!!!!!!! And because Donnie has his motorcycle license still he was able to legally drive on the road, so we took a ride around the block just me & him. That was the first time I'd done that with him!
It was a fun weekend and we are thankful for the memories and moments of fun and family and love and laughter!!!!!!!! God is good all the time and all the time God is good!

I'll never forget our times there, even if your Dad doesn't enjoy all the people around. He's a great one for keeping the kids quiet though while walking them to sleep.
